The Believer's Transformation - Rhema Kingdom Ministries

Be Transformed

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” ~ Romans 12:2

THE BELIEVER'S TRANSFORMATION

Transformation is to change and change is constant. Right from the womb, the human being started changing and will continue to change even after birth. When cotton is harvested, it could be transformed into many things like carpets, clothes, and even upholstery. Transformation is something that is inevitable.

There is a time to be born and there is a time to die – everything has time. The weather changes, and you yourself changed but did you get to the point of the spiritual transformation? Romans 12:2 – “And do not be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

God desires that we are transformed, he wants us to change our ways because living in flesh will not glorify him. You should not be conformed to this world. Your spirit must be in line with the spirit of God. Transform now! If you are becoming weak spiritually, you need to be transformed spiritually. You need to change from becoming inferior to being superior.

Jesus went up to the mountain with Peter, James, and John where he was transformed. The Bible recorded it that his eyes were shining like the sun and God spoke out to them saying, “This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.” The truth of the matter is that until you are spiritually transformed, God will not be pleased with you.

Spiritual transformation comes with faith.  You must have faith in God that he will accept you and then transform you. When you have that faith, you become transformed and God will be pleased with you. Hebrews 11:6 – “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

The world needs you; this world we are in is going deep down into the darkness.  You mustn’t remain like you used to be, you need to be transformed. When you are transformed, you will have a light that the world will see – it is then you will become the light of the world that shines brighter every day. Do you desire to change the world? You can’t achieve that if you yourself are not changed.

To become an agent of change that God wants to use in this generation, you must allow yourself to go through a spiritual transformation. This change, this transformation is letting go of the past. You read about this transformation.  Yes, sure you read the Bible and perhaps you know about Jesus.  But is your life letting go of the past? Are you embracing change?

Do you have the zeal to be spiritually transformed but you don’t know how to go about it? Good friend, you are so in the right spot! Continue reading…

Make Sure You Remain in Christ

2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” Once you are in Christ, you go through a spiritual transformation; your old self is gone, you are new! There is no way you can desire to be spiritually transformed and yet you are out of the place you can be transformed.

Transformation is about the life and the spirit you carry.  It starts with a new life and that is why it said that “If any man is in Christ, he is a new creation.” He has gotten a new life a new soul and a new spirit. Jesus gives the life because he is the life that comes to you.

Spiritual Awakening

John 15:4 – “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear the fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” You cannot produce anything outside of Christ, which means you cannot be transformed spiritually without Christ.

Surrender Yourself to Be Transformed

Potter and Clay

The process of transformation sometimes may seem hard. It’s the truth but still, you need to surrender yourself to go through the process of transformation. Let’s use a familiar illustration of the potter and the clay. The clay is smashed and then molded into the shape the potter wants – that’s a change there. But for another change which is the change from being weak to being strong, the clay must go through fire.

Galatians 2:20 – “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” This is a testimony from a man who has been transformed after he exchanged his body for the body of Christ. He surrendered himself for Jesus to take charge of everything.

There might be people saying that you are nothing because you are not perfect. But tell them that you are in Christ and you are getting a spiritual transformation. You are changing, your life is changing! You might be seen as someone who is not wise, so they call you foolish – don’t worry. King Solomon was like that before that great transformation, which made him the wisest on earth. Just tell them you are under a process, a process of transformation.

When you are transformed, your focus, your priority, your belief, and your behavior all change. You will conform to the power of God and you will be full of his power. I implore you to live a transformed life the way Jesus lived while on earth.
